You may wonder why things mentioned below are not part of the stock guide sections. These are things that you can perform under very strange/non-standard circumstances as such they should be avoided by the general player. Try them at your own risk!
High ping & latency is regarded as a disadvantage in the majority of cases for jobs in this game. I sometimes like to turn that idea on its head with something I discovered a while back:
Beyond a certain latency delay threshold you can resolve Fester & Bane right after casting Tri-Disaster due to your extra oGCD animation lock delay pushing the Aetherflow actions to cast just after the statuses resolve on a target.
From my personal testing for me at 220+ms my Aetherflow actions resolve between 4-14ms after Tri-Disaster’s DoTs have been confirmed. That is a very tight window!
There are times where my latency jitter (ping variance) results in a failure however out of hundreds of tests these can be deemed outliers allowing for what I call “Forbidden Weaves” to be consistently performed.
Tri-Disaster + Fester
This double weave results in Fester doing damage after a Tri-Disaster cast provided you have a high enough latency delay.
Tri-Disaster + Bane
This double weave results in Bane spreading both DoTs after your Tri-Disaster cast provided you have a high enough latency delay.
Note: This will not work with using Bane after Bio III (there may be an exception if you are playing from Narnia to Africa with excessively high ms). Tri-Disaster into Bane only.
